Rentals

We can arrange for all rental gear required in the backcountry, although some items are limited in quantity, please let us know well in advance for groups greater than 4.

For longer tours through soft snow we strongly recommend that snowboarders use a splitboard. Snowshoes are good for short hikes, icy ridgelines and people who have used them in the past and know their limitations. Snowboarders are also recommended to use hiking poles as they aid in hiking rhythm and balance - saving a lot of energy.

Crampons are not required except on certain itineraries.

If you are renting a splitboard or touring skis, you will also need to rent a set of climbing skins.
